AI (Artificial Intelligence) is like an artificial brain that learns from lots of examples. Imagine I've read millions of books and articles - now I know a lot about many topics and can answer questions.

"Model" is basically my knowledge. Think of it like a book I wrote - it contains everything I've learned. There are models that know more about language, others know more about images.
